The DNICRA was established to mitigate funding agency’s (government/nongovernment/csr corporate} lack of knowledge and experience of ngo/npo/trust/vo and to facilitate an increased flow of funds into the ngo/npo/trust/vo sector based on professional assessments of creditworthiness. The service was based on an assessment of parameters developed specially after studying the realities of ngo/npo/trust/vo operations.
